Shev's Review: Being a German band, they're obviously not too big into using English. This might pose a problem for most bands when it comes to signing along, but 'tard is a universal language. Actual lyrics are few and far between, and instead replaced with moaning, yelping, screaming, and even a little giggling. It fits in awesome with the sloppy, creative guitarwork and drumming which can merely be described as "functional". I've
listened to this EP no less than twenty times, and it has yet to get
old. It's grind in it's purest form, but without all the
straight-faced nonsense that turns modern grindcore into stuffy school
lessons. If you've already burned through all your Lobster
Assault and Pile Of Eggs cassettes and can't possibly bring
yourself to listen to another Seth Putnam project, try to find yourself a
copy of this. I promise this to be hated by grindcore purists around
the world. Discography (last updated 12.15.05): |
