Shevy's Review:  Before anybody had ever heard of The Boredoms...before Anal Cunt ever came into existence...before John Zorn's Naked City took the jazz world by storm...there were the Hunger Artists.  Mike Ace and Dean Sabatino (later to find fame as Dean Clean from The Dead Milkmen) from the early punk rock band Narthex, along with their manager Dave Reckner, decided to take their music to the next level.  This is simplistic, free mess, improvisational hardcore punk at it's most dirty and sloppy.  Song structure and melody have been cast aside to make room for 54 very short tributes to early noisecore.  Unfortunately, this band existed as only a novelty act, never pressing for more exposure.  Made for people that like to laugh at song titles and noise/free mess enthusiasts alike, this is best worst album you've never heard.
