Scoot's Review:
Most fans of 80's thrash would consider the debut lp by San Francisco's Exodus to be an undeniable classic, and who am I to disagree?  Bonded By Blood is one of the cornerstones of the speed/thrash genre and one of my favorite metal albums of all time.  Wildly careening solos, lightning fast drumming, and Paul Baloff's over the top shrieking wail merge like the components of an evil heavy metal Voltron.  Great songwriting elevates Exodus to the top of the class, with every other track being a fist-pumping anthem.  Undoubtedly many a head was cracked in the pit to "A Lesson in Violence", "Deliver Us To Evil", and the titular "Bonded By Blood".  If you've ever wondered about why critics and fans alike continually go nuts over the Bay Area sound, one spin of this record will provide ample evidence.
