Uncle Meat's Review:
Entombed’s ‘95 single continued with their Sweetish death and roll which was covered pretty well on
Wolverine Blues. Crunchy guitars, low vocals and a tight rhythm section really move this song along.
Although death metal by trade, all of Entombed’s songs contain a “pop” feel to them.
This helps give Entombed an edge over BRUTAL death metal bands.
New Bomb Turks is a band I had never heard of before this split.
Not being a huge punk fan, it is not something I would normally listen to.
However, they have a great sound not unlike the Sex Pistols.
Badmouth the Pistols all you want, but their sound was terrific, and the
New Bomb Turks have captured it very well.
