Shev's Review:  When Bolt Thrower first hit the scene with "In Battle There Is No Law", it was a mighty decent album especially considering it was their first full length.  It wasn't until Realm Of Chaos, Bolt Thrower's sophomore release, that they found their groove.  Mixing a healthy dose of death metal with a little bit of grindcore, Realm Of Chaos is easily one of the most destructive, pummeling releases of the 80's...not to mention this still holds up well against today's bands.  With the strings drop C tuned and Karl Willets' grumbles altered with a harmonizer, this is raw, furious, adrenaline in simplistic structures.  Not to be confused with the plentiful supply of 80's death metal and grindcore, Bolt Thrower bring their own style to the table here which to this day is rarely copied.
