Shev's Review:
Still in their infant stages, Australia’s Blood Duster decided to follow-up one of the most impressive grind albums of the 90’s (Yeest), with something a lot more experimental.  The grindcore aspect is still very strong, but they have also thrown in quite a bit of good, old fashioned, dirty rock & roll to create one of the most important extreme groove albums this world has ever heard.

Most noticeably different from their previous material is the guitarwork, although still quite filthy, contains high amounts of ass-shaking, fuzz-drenched groove and an overall borderline dance-friendly rock sound.  While a definite change from Alman’s performance on Yeest, he does a great job of keeping his grinding integrity and supplying the listener with easily-accessible and all-out fun riffs.  Complimenting the guitars is the legendary Tony Forde on vocals, working his grind edge into rock-based music, and coming through in flying colors.  The bass and drums, while nothing spectacular, do a sufficient job of holding up the bottom and throwing in some stylish elements without really breaking through the paper and sharing some spotlight.

Overall this is a very questionable work among grindcore purists as it marks a change in direction more distinct than Carcass or Napalm Death, but at the same time performs to the best of it’s ability and delivers some incredibly classic tunes…with exception of the Pure Digital Silence track.  I mean, that’s just obnoxious.
