Shev's Review:
Blood Duster came up with a few really great songs on their self-titled full-length, so it should be no surprise that an EP for one of their all-time best songs, "SixSixSixteen" , should see the light of day.  In the rock-oriented spirit of the full-length, Blood Duster opens things up with a blatant rip-off of W.A.S.P.'s Pledge Of Allegiance from the "W.A.S.P." album.  As a matter of fact, Blood Duster pulls out all the stops and gets the actual girl who recorded her voice back in 1984 for W.A.S.P. to do it for them, as well.

Next we're greeted with "SixSixSixteen", which just like on the full length album, is absolutely amazing.  Another short intro, and then an unreleased Blood Duster track called "LovePiss".  It's a fairly simple, groovy tune, and in all honesty I don't know why this didn't make it onto one of their full-lengths.

From here it's time for a couple of covers.  "It's A M.A.N.S. World" from Napalm Death and "I Wanna Be Your Pimp" from The Dwarves.  Both accomplished with style and skill as is usually the case with Blood Duster's covers.  Then we're off to about a minute of some obnoxious hum which leads to the final "Bonus Track", also unreleased.  Unfortunately, this is nothing but a cut from the slaughterhouse floor.  A frantic gasp of air and some Hellacopters-ish rock thrown into the middle.

Overall, this thing is only 7:40 from start to finish...or 6:16 when you remove all the intro and non-musical noise (was this deliberate?)...but well worth the EP price for any fan of Blood Duster.  It's definitely not very big on grind, but more of a straight forward rock experience to compliment "SixSixSixteen".  A job well done yet again.
