Lamp's Review:
Japan's Bathtub Shitter come at you with a solid mix of styles.  The music on this album ranges from catchy rock to sludgy grind and even a folky sounding instrumental given the title track of Lifetime Shitlist.

The entire album has a distorted feel to it, a very raw sound that can be compared to...well, shit.  Not unlike the band's name, everything in their sound can be compared to shit whether it be the sludgy sounding vocals and guitars or the lyrics in broken English about giant asses and shitting.  The result of all of this chaos is surprisingly upbeat, like something you could put in your car stereo and cruise to.  The songs run the gamut of lengths too ranging from about 30 seconds to a good 5 minutes, offering further diversity in this album.  Some aspects of the album take a little getting used to, such as the fairly obnoxious high vocals, but if you can get past the minor details like that, then Lifetime Shitlist is a great listen any time.
